B L Garbens Associates Inc. is a fee-for-service (fee only) financial planning firm and tax return preparer based in Toronto specializing in delivering a comprehensive and integrated approach on all aspects of each client's financial situation.
One of the components of the service is tax planning and tax return preparation.
We have over 25 years of combined experience preparing personal and trust tax returns. We take pride on delivering our clients' returns accurately and in a timely fashion and will work with you to ensure that no planning opportunities are overlooked. Our goal is to help you keep more of your hard earned money!
As well as preparing simple returns for individuals, we also welcome returns dealing with more complex situations, such as small businesses, senior executive compensation (such as stock option exercise) and rental properties.

Barbara Garbens has been preparing tax returns for over 25 years and will work with you to gather all the necessary information to prepare your returns in a complete and accurate manner. We also work with your investment advisors and other professionals as required to gather information related to capital gains, business issues, etc.
Tax filing time can be especially stressful for many individuals. We take the burden off you so that you can concentrate on the things that are important to you without the unnecessary distraction of trying to meet the tax filing deadline.
Fees
We charge a minimum fee of $375 for a single return (plus disbursements and HST) and a minimum fee of $650 for a couple (plus disbursements and HST).
However, we will be better able to evaluate cost for this service once we have a sense of the complexity of the return(s). So please contact us for further details.
